BeforListening-music-000069883213_Medium (548 x 600)e we get into all of the fun topics surrounding meditation, science, etc, I want to tell you a little bit about my past with meditating.

I happen to discover meditation unexpectedly. I wasn’t much of a spiritual guy, lacked romance, (if you ask my wife) and analytical in orientation. I had little interest in exploring meditation or yoga, even though my friends constantly invited me to join them in classes and retreats. I politely declined their invitations.

One day, it hit me. I was able to meditate to music, without knowing the noun is meditation . I think the best way to explain it is that it was something like an auto-deductive approach to learning meditation. Without knowing the exact explanation, all of these train of thoughts, new awarenesses, and rare encounters with lucid dreams, all began to surface.

In the past, I was interested in hypnosis and that’s definitely what sparked the connection. I remembered a process called self-hypnosis and how it generates a relaxed state in the practitioners, and generates more alpha brain waves in the brain under EGG. With a touch of science, a lot of music we began the journey to meditation & sleep music.

A little science, a lot of music, a happier life, is what we say, it our musical tool to help you meditate better.

I think one of the most important things to discuss first is the obvious; What is meditation?

Not so simple for beginners to understand and also hard to define, for example, according to an online dictionary the following points all pertain to the definition:

  • To engage in contemplation or reflection
  • To engage in mental exercise (as concentration on one’s breathing or repetition of a mantra) for the purpose of reaching a heightened level of spiritual awareness
  • To focus one’s thoughts on : reflect on or ponder over
  • To plan or project in the mind

These bullets don’t fully satisfy my view, it not the answer to my question, most practitioner will agree & also agree its hard to define; so I began researching to better understand the concept of meditation.

In our blog, we will discuss different trends in the meditation world, music, fitness, travel stories, share pictures, incorporate science, and of course, talk about meditation in the context of mind, body and spirit.

Bringing it back to the definMan Sitting (548 x 600)ition above, that we’re not too fond of, tell us what meditation means to you!
